Same here! I've always loved his voice because it was so different from all other singers out there. It's not perfect, but it's REAL. It makes me smile every. single. time. I remember the first midtown song I heard, and what got me was the singer's voice. It was so different and unique that I became hooked instantly.

i saw 'hot mess' number 1 on usa itunes and it got me thinking...
(sorry to bore but) i remember waiting for my copy of W.T.C.S.W.R.T.S. for like a week after the release date, becuase it wan't released in england the same time....
i remember driving 3 hours with my older brother to see you guys support fall out boy, and im not really a fan of fob!

spending my entire savings to buy an '07 leeds fest ticket becuase i wanted to see cobra and tai lol. i only got up the courage to go up and meet your guys at last years give it a name festival because i was scared you were gonna be dicks...how wrong was i?!

anyways, the point is after following you since the beginning i'm so proud and feel part of what you guys have done. thanks. everytime iv seen you live, met you, you and the guys are always the best, and appreciaitive....thats what i love.

How seriously older are you.. I am a very very PROUD 48 year old fan.. Got to see them in Columbus Ohio on the opening day of the tour on 8/3 I think I was more excited to see them than my 23 year old daughter was.. I just love our Gabe and Alex and think of them as my adopted sons..

Dear Gabe,

i watched you guys on Conan and was well first, SO incredibly stoked he put you on the show and that cobra as come as far as you have in the time you've been out. you guys really deserved the slot and i watched that performance with pride! i also love how you threw the fangs up afterwards!

anywho, thanks for clearing up the whole estell thing. i will admit i was a bit put off on how she didnt sing the lyrics of the song but one can see that she has talent, and hell, is incredibly lucky to share the stage with you guys. (although i do stand by Victoria singing that part from now on. sorry but the girl has some pipes!)

And as for your voice mr. saporta, i enjoy it, pre and post surgery, cyst and no cyst. you sound like no one else and i always know when its a cobra (or midtown) song blaring out of my speakers.

my deepest most sincere congratulations to you all! and i wish you the best of luck in your budding careers, you've worked your asses off to get this far i hope you show the WORLD how the cobras party! but always remember to keep your feet on the ground. you've done a great job so far, coming out and signing tickets, taking pictures and what not.

lastly, THANK YOU! for bringing fun, party music into my life, letting me be apart of something, and always reminding me to never take life to seriously. theres always a time to dance.

My daughter is a Cobra fan, so I became one too as I listen to your new cd in the car. Compared to many singers, your voice is good - not great, but definitely not bad.

The main thing I like about you and your band is that you care about your fans. My daughter tells me you performed on tour when you were supposed to be on vocal rest because you didn't want to disappoint your fans. That's amazing and I give you a lot of credit for it.

Btw, she's now part of the Cobra Crew and we're going to see you on the 23rd in Charlotte. Looking forward to it.

dude if people give you shit for your performance last night fuck them. i think you guys were great. i was so fucking proud watching you perform, seriously. it made me so happy when i went in my living room and my mom was watching the performance where i had recorded it and she was telling me how much she loved it. you're fucking awesome, and you sounded great, and fuck anyone who says otherwise.

p.s. you met my friend kaleigh last night in LA and she got you to call me and wish me happy birthday and it pretty much gave me the best birthday ever, so thank you so much. you're the best, gabe. i can't wait to see you guys in 11 days :)

i was watching FOB on another late night show with my mom the night before you guys went on Conan, and she would not stop talking about how terrible they were. then the next night, while watching the Cobras with Estelle, she was like.."they sound terrible too! why would you go see them if they sound like that??"

....and that was the night i almost decked my mom in the face.

so i began to tell her that everyone doesnt sound as good live as they do on their cds, exspecially when theyre live on tv. plus its really not how they sound its just their stage presence and how awesome they can carry themselves while playing live (exspecially if they have the balls to put "HOT MESSIAH" on the amps). everyone knows that people sound like shit on tv. for some reason its like a surprise to some people. me? of course i could give less of a shit about how ANYONE sounds because im not able to make it to like any of the shows, and i take what i can fuckin get.

but needless to say, i enjoyed it, because i know how amazing you guys are live, and would kill to see you guys again. estelle was good also, even tho i missed a little of her part while i was yelling at my mom.

And one of the things that I really love about you is that your voice isn't perfect, but you have THE BEST stage presence of anyone ever. All of you guys just bring something extra to your performance that makes it so that you don't just hear the music, you feel it too. And I really love that.

Honestly, thank all of you guys from the bottom of my heart for making me understand that just because something isn't perfect doesn't mean that it can't be valued more than something that is.

Honestly, I love your voice. Sure, I get shit from people saying "Oh, he can't even sing." But you know what, I disagree. I personally think that everyone can sing. Some just can sing better than others, that's all. And even if you don't have the best voice, you are an amazing performer. Some poeple may have amazing voices, but they can't interact with a crowd like you can.

And as for last nights performance, I loved it. Sure, you may have seemed a little nervous at first, but onced you loosened up, you were amazing as usual. :) Don't worry about it Gabe.

and honestly, your confidence and drive are inspiring. you say you're not a great singer yet you go out everyday and do a damn good job at trying, not giving a shit what people think. if i could have half the confidence that you posess, maybe i'd actually accomplish things i've always wanted to do.

and really, if people are talking shit about your performance, maybe they should hear me sing a song or two. my voice is so terrible, i guarantee they'd change their minds about you ha!

i agree with u. dude i have ur humble beginnings album believe me i know how far vocally you've come. i saw the conan performance and honestly i could care less how u sounded. i was just happy that you got to be on a show that gave you exposure like that and i'm happy that things seem to be going in the right direction for you all this time and hopefully this album does great and exceed everyone's expectations. but if it doesnt at least at the end of the day you have no regrets and you did it your way and you had fun while doing it. who cares if you're not the best singer? if you can connect with your fans i think you are way ahead of many artists in that aspect. many ppl get on my case for saying Nirvana is my fav band and they are like why cause nirvana is not that talented. kurt cant sing that well and they are not the best musicians but those kids are totally missing the point. music shouldnt be about who can sing better etc to me its something defined by the individual person and personally nirvana connected with me and in my world they were amazing doesnt mean i think they are the best musicians out there but for me they are great. similarly i get ppl saying shit about me liking cobra or when i loved midtown in the past. it was never about the vocals. i always felt i could identify with you in some way shape or form. when you were in midtown it was the lyrics and i could hang with you and you never made me feel like i was some annoying fan. now in cobra you are the same way. you more than paid your dues and i'm so happy for all the oppertunities that are coming your way and i think you guys along with estelle did a good job last nite. yea it was not perfect but thats whats great about you guys.. you arent perfect and embrace your flaws. you dont think you're better than anyone and by showing that its ok to make mistakes you are staying at our level and i appreciate that more than anything. dont listen to haters. us cobra fans know that you guys are amazing and we see it all the time when we go to your shows. thats what counts. and for a person that had surgery only a couple months ago i think your vocals were great on the album and last nite. :)

p.s. i know i comment too much but i just needed to tell you that even if people give you shit about your voice or whatever, know that there are a lot of us out there that understand all the sacrifices you've made just to keep doing what you're doing. you could've just said screw it and just stopped singing when you were told, but you didn't want to let us down. you still did sassyback and sang your fucking heart out. and after all that, and the surgery and vocal rests and doctors orders, you're still out there giving it all you've got every night for your fans which makes you the best, gabe. and really on hot mess, i think your voice sounds better than it ever has. thanks for everything you do for us. i don't think you understand how much it means to some fans, and those who don't appreciate it or give you a hard time aren't real fans anyway.

tbh, i love the earlier midtown records because of your voice. songs like recluse and let go...it's young, it's not perfect, it's off, but like you said, it's real. anyone could tell how much you truly loved what you were doing, and can still tell. yeah, you sound way better now...still not perfect, but it's your voice and we love it. no matter what.

conan was awesome. all my favourite tall lanky dudes in one place. also, i must say the close up of suarez during the rap.....was priceless. didn't know he had some sassy black woman in him.

I just rewatched the conan performance from last night & honestly, I think the only thing lacking was the audience. They didnt seem to get into it, or into it as much as a normal cobra crowd, & I think thats what made the performance not as exciting as the others I've seen cobra do. You guys as a band did amazing!! Not gonna lie though, when that curtain opened, I got a little choked up. Seeing you guys from the beginning & now watching you perform on the tonight show makes me so proud!! :)

First of congrats for being on Conan! I've never really been one to watch bands on tv. Always makes me nervous. Don't know why. ^^; I'm weird like that I guess. Any who! The fact that your voice isn't "perfect" is why I like it. Same reason I like Mike Ness of Social Distortion. It's no where near perfect. It's rough. But thats just me. *laughs* Which reminds me of last Friday in Colorado Sprigs where you all performed at The Black Sheep. (Which by the way is my favorite concert thus far. First time I got to see you guys head line. AMAZING.) You went in the parking lot to sign shirts and what not and talk to fans. There was a point as I stood there amongist teens and their moms. (Which made this 23 year old feel old to see all those teens. *laughs*) Like the one mom who about poked my eye out with a broken drumb stick and proceeded to hold my hand to her chest and kept telling me sorry. *laughs* I don't know if you were looking at me, or what. Because it seemed the girls around me were talking amongist them selfs. But you said "I don't get it, I'm not that hot." *laughs* Or something to that effect. It goes back to what you said about your voice. Yeah you're not perfect, but you are quite the looker. then again I don't find myself all that good either. But thats just me. Its kinda like the bags I make that you signed Friday night and the last show in Denver at the Believers Never Die part 2. They're not perfect. Like the one you signed on Friday, the shoulder strap kept breaking and breaking. At one point I was standing at the bar fixing it. Shit I must have fixed the strap on that bag eight times threw out the night that night. But I love them never the less. Thank you for signing both bags. honestly i thought the performance as a whole was pretty sweet, you guys did a good job. no-one sounds perfect, especially on a TV appearance. obviously a performance in a TV studio is going to be completely different to one inside a club to hundreds of fans since it's a completely different atmosphere.

(and for the record, i think your voice still sounds fucking awesome. i have heard of cases when singers have gotten cysts and have never been able to sing anywhere near as good as they used to, and i think you're still doing a great job.)

That's really great that you wanted to do something and you just went for it even if you didn't think you were the best. You are actually my favorite singer. I know there are other people with voices that are probably "more beautiful" than yours or whatever, but after a while they all start to sound the same. Your voice doesn't sound like anyone else's which I really like. You are a lot better now than you were on the first Midtown cd. (which I still thought was great) It's good that you're doing what you love no matter what. I know what you mean about hearing bands on tv. I saw Fall Out Boy live on the Today Show a few years ago and they were amazing, but then later I watched the Today show at home, not even close to as good.

Rest assured, you rock in real life. Don't worry about TV appearances, you are right that everyone's vocals suck. It was weird seeing you performing to an invisible crowd though -- I think that your crowd interaction is one of the best things about your performance skills, which is why you guys really shine when it comes to live gigs and the sound (you're right about that) is perfect when you're actually there. If there are haters, don't listen to them. We know you're no (insert amazing male vocalist here) but damnit we love you and we love your voice, and if everyone who put out an album had to be "the greatest vocalist in the world" then half the bands we love would never exist.
Keep doing what you do. The real fans will keep listening.

But I still think Estelle fucked it up, I mean she didn't even know the words!! I agree with you she did it her way but I don't like it HER way! And I agree, what I've always loved about your singing is that the emotion of whatever the song is always comes through so well with your voice, it's real, not contrived and that's harder to come by these days.

And I've seen you guys four other times in the past, but seeing the show on Tuesday night at the Troubadour was incredible, that was the best show I've ever seen you guys put on. the way i look at it - if you can sing, great, if you can't perform and entertain well with that voice, then you're fucked. but honestly even if the cysts had really taken such a toll on your voice to the extent that you could barely sing at all, i think people would probably still turn up to the shows because of the atmosphere, the energy and the emotions. you guys have successfully got the whole package and kept it like that for 3 years because, as you said, you've stayed REAL. and when it comes down to it i'm going to appreciate and latch on to something real a lot faster than someone "perfect" who's just spitting out ideas that don't mean anything or have any value.

and the conan performance was sweet. tv performances always look so awkward haha, but i think you guys pulled it off well. the speaker really makes me wish you'd opted to call the album "hot messiah" though. the least you could do would be to make a potential album cover for a record titled that........please consider it

I thought the performance was great! Yesterday was so much fun. I went to buy the cd early in the morning then listened to it all day and eagerly anticipated you guys being on the Tonight Show. I was not disappointed either. I was so proud and super excited to watch one of my favorite bands achieve such wonderful things. I truly haven't been so attached to a band since I was in middle and high school. You don't try to be something you're not which I think is the best thing you can even try to do in your business. I'm glad that you're confident in everything you do. It's the only thing that keeps you going sometimes. Congrats on everything! Fangs up!

I saw your performance on my pc, from Italy, and the first thing I thought was: damn, they're good for being on that stage, on tv.
I don't want this to sound bad, it's not I don't have faith in you, but you were definitely better than I expected. I don't see a lot of Conan but I saw some bands I like before, bands I know are good, and they weren't so good on that stage so my expectatives about you weren't so high...well, you surprised me in the best way ;)

And about your voice...what against a good, old, solid Volkswagen? As soon as a BMW has a little flaw it's no more up to her name, it will never be a good BMW again. When a Volkswagen has a little flaw, instead, it becomes part of her and of her character, it makes her special and unique...so trust me, we love a Volkswagen a lot better ;)
I've been at a lot of shows in my life, different bands, different genres, still when I came back from CS's the first thing I said was 'well, maybe they're not so perfect but definitely in the top three show just for the emotions' ;)

I really don't think you should be defending yourself. People have to take it for what it is. honestly, I don't love Cobras because they're perfect; the realness is what makes me want to stick around. that said, even with factoring in nerves and Murphy's law of television performances, it was really hard to watch you guys on the show, because everyone just looked fucking exhausted. and not going to lie, Gabe, I'm currently worried as fuck about you. you talk about wanting to "ride the vocal train to the ground" in concerts, practically every Cobra piece I read now mentions how you could take medicine or do vocal exercises or whatever to protect your physical health but you won't because that "changes your personality," and coming as this does shortly after an interview where it's stated that even speaking is physically painful these days, it's all coming across less as being 'real' than a scorched earth health policy sprouting out of some romantic notion about destroying yourself for music. obviously, it's your life and I only know what you let us in on, but everything I'm hearing these days isn't good.

Just watched your performance on Youtube, I think it went on the way it should go. It was f*cking awesome!
And yeah, nobody's perfect. If we would be perfect, there would be nothing we could get better at, and our lives would be su*k. I think. You're so brave and I see that you're totally satisfied what you got, and maybe it was a bit hard to admit something you think you're not good at. But you did it, coz you made a few mistakes and you don't worry anymore. (currently I'm listening to Wet Hot American Summer :]) I'm singing about four years now, two years ago I lost my voice for about more than a week, and everytime I tried to sing I couldn't and I thought that I'm going crazy, I kept on singing 'til I could ,I thought my voice's gonna die soon and one day when I woke up, my voice came back, and the first thing I did on that morning was to sing to my Grandma. I've never felt anything like this before, and it just made me stronger. I'll keep singing 'til I die I'm sure about this. Can't wait to finish school and put a record together.

I was watching when you and the Cobras were on Conan and I thought y'all tore it up. I knew it wasn't going to be perfect. Hell, I know you don't have the most perfect singing voice too. I can't really says since I've only heard three songs, but they were good. (I doubt they were first album though.)

I don't think people quite understand what it's like to perform on a late night show that millions of people watch. It's not like standing in front of a crowd of 100 where it might be a bit easier. I'm sure it's quite nerve-wracking and I could only imagine the pressure you must feel.

Thanks. Yesterday my daughter came home from an acting class in which she felt she bombed doing her monologue. Wiping away her tears, I tried to explain to her that you can't always hit a homerun. I showed her your performance on Conan. We have seen you perform live and your are quite engaging, crowd pleasing, and oh yeah, the music is terrific. But we can't always be perfect. The perfection has to be in the willingness to do what we feel passionate about. Perfect passion. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It will help remind the kids (and the parents too) the fear of failure is a wasted emotion.

I remember being a kid and listening to that first Midtown album.
I loved it. and I always will.
I've always beleived you have a distinct voice. You hear a song (Midtown, Cobra, whatever) and you just know it's Gabe Saporta, even if you've never heard the song before. That's how it was like with Cobra for me. I remember thinking "who the fuck is that?", and it hit me. I was so stoked you were continuing music, because I really do love your voice. It's real, it's distinct, and it's been a comfort to me ever since 2001.

As for Conan, I thought you guys were great. I'm proud of all of you! Conan seems like such a rad guy.

Anyway. I'm proud of you, and all the others. :)

If I tried to sing, ppl would throw shit at me, and no amount of practice could change the fact that I can't stand the sound of my own voice. Lol. But I do agree that you are awesome and you work hard and really enjoy what you do. I respect you for that.

There are many people with great-singing voice, but they can't use it in 100%. You have something which helps you be famous and it's great. It's not important what you have - it's important how you can use your advantage.

And about your voice, well, if you haven't broken any mirrors and/or anything breakable with the vocals like I seem to do on a daily basis, you're good and/or very good.
Loved Estelle's version of it too. She has a great set of pipes right there.
I will be honest though. You guys looked awkward for the first minute or so (I mean it's TV so I give you that) but then I watched as it steadily got better. It wasn't so awkward to watch and by the end it was throughly enjoyable.
I'm happy that you guys got to achieve that. You looked really happy up there. I wish you an endless supply of TV appearances (or as many as it takes to not make you go insane).

eh. i watched it last night on youtube and thought it was much better than your last performance so that's a plus. you gave your energy and will into the performance and that's all that's really needed and whoever's saying otherwise needs a srs reality check.
tbqh i didn't really care for estelle but she had her moments and if you all liked her then i suppose that's all that really matters.
i mean, you could've made a tool of yourself with lip syncing but o hay der, obviously you don't ~do that. and don't. ever, srsly.

That's why I love Cobra Starship. You don't hide behind the bullshit. You tell it like it is. You aren't afraid to confront the problem head on with both taste and confidence. As a fan, I should be able to do the same, so when I realized you guys were playing the Tonight Show, I was uberly excited, no lie. I couldn't wait for you guys to come on and kill it. But, honestly, I wasn't as impressed as I could have been. I'll put it out there, I was pretty disappointed. I've never seen you guys live, but I have seen video of you doing live performances and know you're great. So it naturally baffled me when I didn't feel that way after watching you on Conan. Of course there's always the story behind the show and I feel ashamed with myself when I forgot the fact that you did have that damn cyst on your chords. It's gonna be hard for anyone to gain full capacity after something like that happens to you. I still love you guys, I still want to buy Hot Mess asap, I still want to, eventually, see you live. Just the fact that you guys are real gets me and I applaud and appreciate that.

Also, I love Volkswagens and find absolutely nothing wrong with them. Both literally and symbolically. (;

They have it all!! The music is amazing and success is coming their way. But.. I dont think they will ever let it go to their heads and abandon the fans that have supported them all along. Saw them in Columbus on 8/3 and they came out before the show in the heat of the day and talked with fans, pictures taken, signed everything and never turned one person away. They were just as sweet and patient with the last person in line as they were with the first person..

I admire and respect each and every one and will always support my Cobra's,. Even though sometimes I have to take a lot of shit about being a 48 year old fan.. But Good music is good music, and what does age really matter...

i wasnt expecting it to be great, because of what happened last time, and the jimmy kimmel show. but i remember what u said before after the last performance, how the crowd isnt right there so its hard to get that vibe off the fans like at your shows. so i felt that you guys were alittle bored? but i wouldnt judge that on you guys overall since i already know ur good live and that ur voice isnt the greatest.

I Love the fact that you just go out there and give every performance your all and if its not good enough for the critics they can go and fuck themselves.. I met you again in Columbus Ohio on the opening day of the tour and I got all mushy with you that night. I told you how proud I was of you for always spending time with your fans and making each and every one of them feel special and loved by you.. You spent quite a while in the hot sun greeting every fan and signing for them.. You were genuine and sweet with each and every person. I felt like the proudest Cobra mom watching you with your fans..They Love you and you Love them so much. If something happened and you could never sing again, your fans would still be there and supporting you. You will always be amazing.. People will always love you and respect you for being REAL and always true to yourself..

Gabe you have taught me time and time again to accept my non perfect self and aging Cobra Status. I am 48 years old and have learned to ignore the people who think I am insane to be following a group and going to shows at my age. But when I am listening to your music and at your shows time stands still and for a moment in time my health issues dont exist, my problems dont exist.. I feel inspired and walk away a happier younger person...

Gabe, this is really amazing. I'm really loving the comparison of a volkswagen to your voice, it's crazy how much it fits together. So what if you don't have the best voice out there? live tv performances always sound bad. you don't have the time you want/need to sound check and stuff, and even then there's always someone that messes it up. Senses Fail did one on Fuel Tv and it sounded atrocious, not to mention all the back up mics were set higher than Buddy's. The Sound guy probably figured that Buddy didn't sing as well as scream and turned his down.

anyway, you guys did great. I didn't hear anything wrong in your voice Gabe, even though it's said "you are your worst critic". don't stress it, touring musicians aren't always at their best which essentially makes them better than say...idk...J.Lo who tours every 4 or 5 years and even then, she only does a couple dates where as you do full month long or longer tours. touring musicians make music so much more than something you listen to when you're bored. take Incubus for example, Brandon Boyd said in an interview "we mess up all the time and we'll admit, we suck. but that's what makes music beautiful, it's the essence that draws us into it's atmosphere. music shouldn't be serious or perfect all the time. music is for entertainment and mistakes are allowed" take that as inspiration, cause I sure do.

I agree. your voice isn't necessarily bad. it's very unique, and I can always tell when it's you singing. the performance wasn't on, but it was still really fucking good - a lot of bands really suck on television (sometimes indicative of them live) but it was still awesome, and I could tell you guys were having such a fucking good time; smiling, rockin' out, just enjoying yourselves. which is the most important thing.

I am so happy for you guys! You guys are really going somewhere and I am really happy and proud of all of you.
I support you guys in all you do and will never say that you are selling out because I think that term is ridiculous, a band has to grow and experiment and they are not gonna keep releasing the same thing over and over and over again so I support you all in all you do!
And I personally love your voice! It's fun and different and idk I just love it!
You guys have ment so much for me and in an odd-not knowing you personally- way you guys have always been there for me. All I have to do when I'm feeling down is listen to you guys and you are sure to pick my spirits right back up and I thank you soooo much for that. Thank you for being yourselves always and writing and playing the songs that you do because it is those very songs that help me get through the tough times.

I think I brought this subject up before, about how I like your voice for the type of songs that you sing, eventhough you don't sound like John Legend, or Brendon Urie. You try to say you were not born with talent and I don't believe that is so. Well, you guys really sound good live, I know a lot of bands that don't sound good live.

I would love to write a blog on this and tell you my thought about the singers that I like and just the characteristics of their voice. Some just can't sing and have the best lyrics, some can sing without having the best lyrics or a great sounding song.

Woow, beautifull blog... and Gabe, you have a beautifull voice!
You guys are awesome and you really make good music.
There are a lot of "talented" artist out there who can't see the difference between a good and a freaking awefull song. If you sing a crappy song so well, so beautifull, it's still a crappy song in my opinion. You guys make good songs and you sing them beautifull aswell so, fangs up!

About the Estelle "issue": When I saw her I was surprised but also curious. She totally made it her own which is in my opinion a good thing! If other people hate it, bummer then..

Hey Gabe,
I started reading your blog - i know i'm late.
I mean I understand how you feel, im a dedicated fan.
I care about you as a loving fan, and i know i've only been a fan of Cobra since May 09.
You came to the UK, then and i had no idea you did.
But i hope you come back.
I just wanted you to know that because i have not been on your blog before.
Anyway, on to your subject here, about conan, i know you were a bit weak in the vocals and stuff, but Gabe you have the voice of an angel, your voice has gotten better and i know i'm one of the only people to say that.
People do say your voice is weak, and you may think it to.
I mean if you never had that surgery, you probably wouldn't be able to sing and be in Cobra still.
I believe you got your voice back because your a fighter, you got better, you cleared your head, and thought to yourself i would want to be living my dream, to be able to still be making music, to still be able to carry on touring.
You are still doing that, don't you see, All your fans, friends, family and the rest of Cobra, are all behind you with everything you decide, were here to support you with everything you do. We all love feeling your emotion in your singing. Your voice is 100% true, even though the quality may not be perfect, nobody's perfect right.
You know what your doing, you know where you want to be. and maybe you do have a little wobble in your singing at times, don't we all, Gabe.
Anyway, i know that your the only guy singer i love. Ive never been able to feel emotion in any other guy singer before. When i fell in love with your singing and Cobra. i never knew what i know now. Because of you i know everyone does not have a perfect voice, i always felt my voice was shit, but because of you, you have said that no ones voice is 100%. I thank you for that.
Gabe, your an inspiration, and we all love you.

First off, congrads on the album getting such high marks! You all should be very proud.

I really enjoyed the Conan preformance. So did my mother, whom is turning 51 this month. And I also really enjoyed how you referenced your voice.. Like a volkswagon as opposed to a BMW. I go to an arts school as a techie, and most of my friends are in the Vocal department... so I know what you mean about the not being the best. But dude, your good. And you have fun. And I like it, so fuck the rest, savvy?

Your realness is unbelievable just like your voice, gabe i'm talking like we're on a first name basis or somethin :) you are totally awesome and don't ever have to explain anything to your real fans. I'm so happy that people are finally seeing how great your band is, you guys were amazing from the start and are only getting better. Your amazing as a performer, singer, and person and you deserve everything good in your life. The best night of my existance was getting to see cobra for the first time at the basement and its an experience I will never forget, much like the other times I saw you live. I Luv Ur Voice and always have ^_^! I saw the Billy Jean cover and I am so glad you guys did that because It was nothing like Micheal's version... I liked yours ten times more!
