hmm i went on the cobra crew site, and it's like $10(about £6) to sign up for the year if you have not bought the CD. which i have, which I know isn't much compared to a lot of things.
BUT, if it's about keeping the fans updated and letting people know about stuff, why do we have to pay? :S
i understand that it obviously costs money to run and shit like that, i dunno, explain? :)
& no offence because i absolutely love you guys & shall be in Leeds bright and early on the 6th of february.

My issue, however, is that the email associated with my iTunes account got deleted and I bought Hot Mess before I changed it....

Exactly! The fans who have been there since While The City Sleeps won't have the same interaction as before. I mean, all fans should be cherished by the band because without them they wouldn't be getting as big and successful as they are, but still :/

I wanna know about getting in on the Cobra Crew, too, since I bought mine on iTunes? I was all set to buy a real copy but the only place around here (Target) that has the unedited version was all sold out! And I couldn't wait another 3 days for them to get more in, so I got it on iTunes. I still spent my $13 and am a diehard fan... I think we should get something, too!!

I'm not sure I'm expecting an answer but...... if you JUST decided to go with a fan club on the 7th of August (day of your post announcing the club) how did you get the inserts placed in CD's to be on sale Aug. 11th? you're saying you decided on a Friday "fuck yeah let's do this" and over the weekend you were able to insert the slips with codes AND get them shipped to distributors? seems you would have had to make a decision like that at least a few weeks ago minimum....

Where did ya'll buy your CD's? Cause I got mine at Best Buy too and it had it. Slip & Code. So, I'm confused cause its the same chain. And I didn't buy some deluxe version, it was the regular EP with the 11 tracks on it.

i got mine a few hours later and it came with no slip at all. apparently this is happening to quite a few people, so i'm sure it'll be handled?
