Because the ratio is normal for the kind of site this is, and I was trying to see if you were one of those passive sexists who think you can just 'tell' when text is written by a woman because of it being friendly or cutely spelled or having awkward grammar. I'm a feminist. And I have a religious mandate to cause trouble. That's why we're talking about this.

Linguists that work for the NIMH and the terrorist-tracking segment of the NSA can tell how much stress someone is under, and whether or not the speaker/writer feels threatened by the subject they're talking about, and they still can't accurately predict gender from text. People who think that with gender or sexuality or political leanings that they can 'just tell' call out to the part of me that likes to trip people up in their own assumptions.
